Airlock import/export: rationale behind single-file operations

Hi team,

I had a question about the Airlock import/export design. Currently, it appears to support only a single file per operation.

Was this limitation introduced due to specific technical, security, or operational challenges with handling multiple files, or was there another design consideration behind this choice?

I’d like to understand the reasoning, especially if there are known trade-offs or future plans around multi-file support. Thanks

I seem to remember the defender malware scanning only supports single files. It would be a good improvement if we could enable multi file support.

we just tell people to zip everything up, that works fine.
